>In business corporations of modern civil states (Western advanced countries), where the social division of labor is the fundamental principle and the separation of ownership and management is thoroughly implemented, the owners—the shareholders—are never burdened with the day-to-day operations of the company.

>Not only the owners (shareholders) but even the managers are not charged with the routine daily operations of the business corporation.

>This is based on the self-evident truth that if the owners (shareholders) were also burdened with company management and daily operations, productivity in each respective field would decline.

>Yet the Marxist-Communists, who overestimate what Fukuzawa Yukichi called “the apprentice Gonosuke”—that is, the ignorant and benighted propertyless class—as “the protagonists of the world,” fall into the dogma of the labor theory of value and then spin fantasies claiming that the daily operations of a business corporation (i.e., blue-collar labor) are the most valuable thing in the world, and therefore that the ignorant and benighted blue-collar workers themselves ought to become the owners of business corporations.

>The ignorant and benighted propertyless class, the blue-collar workers—what Fukuzawa Yukichi called “the apprentice Gonosuke”—who are capable of nothing more than the fixed routines of eating, sleeping, chasing after women to make babies, and producing inferior goods (cheap copy products) or ordinary commodities (agricultural products).
