He states: "In the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the Mongol population remains a mere 2.5 million, while the Chinese who subsequently settled there have—almost imperceptibly—swelled to a staggering 30 million; consequently, their respective demographic standings have been completely reversed. The process of colonial settlement employed by the Chinese is, fundamentally, the same everywhere: a 'human wave' strategy" [2].
